Bastard
Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy (Japanese: バスタード!! 暗黒の破壊神, Hepburn: Basutādo!! Ankoku no Hakaishin) is a legendary Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kazushi Hagiwara. Beginning its serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1988 before eventually moving to Ultra Jump, it is famous for its extreme maximalism—blending high-octane wizardry, 1980s heavy metal aesthetics, and increasingly detailed, eroticized artwork.
The story follows Dark Schneider, an ancient, ego-maniacal wizard who once nearly conquered the world with his army of "Four Lords." To stop his rampage, he was sealed inside the body of a young, innocent boy named Rushe Ren Ren. Years later, when the Four Lords return to break the seals of the destruction god Anthrasax, the high priest’s daughter, Tia Noto Yoko, is forced to release Dark Schneider with a "virgin's kiss." Now "reborn," the wizard must decide whether to resume his world-conquering ambitions or protect the girl who holds his leash and the world he once tried to destroy.
