Kingdom (Japanese: キングダム, Hepburn: Kingudamu) is a colossal historical military epic written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara. Since its debut in Weekly Young Jump in 2006, it has become one of the best-selling manga of all time, renowned for its massive scale, tactical brilliance, and its portrayal of the bloody Warring States period of ancient China.

The story is set in the 3rd century BCE and follows Shin, an orphaned slave who dreams of escaping his lowly status to become the "Greatest General Under the Heavens." His fate becomes intertwined with Ei Sei, the young King of Qin (who would eventually become the first Emperor of a unified China, Qin Shi Huang). Together, they form an unlikely alliance: Ei Sei seeks to end centuries of constant warfare by unifying all seven warring states under one banner, and Shin seeks to be the sword that carves that path through blood and iron.
