Farming Life in Another World
Farming Life in Another World (Japanese: 異世界のんびり農家, RR: Isekai Nonbiri Nouka) is a popular "Iyashikei" (healing) Isekai series written by Kinosuke Naito. It is the ultimate "slow life" fantasy, focusing on the satisfaction of manual labor, community building, and the peaceful daily life of a man who just wants to grow vegetables.
The story follows Hiraku Machio, a man who died in his 30s after a life of illness and hardship in a hospital bed. A deity offers him a second chance in another world and grants him four wishes. Hiraku asks for a healthy body, a peaceful life, to know the local language, and—most importantly—to be a farmer. Gifted with the "Universal Farming Tool" (which can transform into any tool and never dulls), Hiraku is dropped into a dangerous, monster-filled forest. Instead of fighting, he starts clearing land, building a home, and inadvertently creating the most powerful village in the world.
