BLACK CLOVER (Japanese: ブラッククローバー, Hepburn: Burakku Kurōbā) is a high-energy fantasy series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It is a cornerstone of modern Shonen Jump, celebrated for its relentless pacing, themes of social equality, and one of the most cohesive "ensemble casts" in the genre.

The story is set in a world where magic is everything. Asta and Yuno are two orphans raised together in a rural village. While Yuno is a prodigy with immense magical power and a rare four-leaf grimoire, Asta is born with zero magic power in a world where that is considered a biological impossibility. To compensate, Asta trains his body to its physical limits. On the day of their grimoire ceremony, Asta receives a mysterious five-leaf grimoire containing Anti-Magic—a power that can nullify and destroy any spell. The two rivals set out on a journey to the capital to join the Magic Knights, both aiming for the same goal: to become the Wizard King.
