Lord of the Mysteries (Chinese: 诡秘之主, Pinyin: Guǐmì zhī Zhǔ) is a monumental Steampunk, Gothic Horror, and Cthulhu-inspired web novel by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving. Since its completion in 2020, it has gained a massive global following, often cited as one of the greatest works of web fiction for its peerless world-building, intricate magic system, and Victorian-era atmosphere.

The story follows Zhou Mingrui, a modern-day man who wakes up in the body of Klein Moretti, a young graduate in the Kingdom of Loen. He quickly realizes he is in a world resembling the Industrial Revolution—but one filled with elder gods, secret societies, and "Beyonders" who drink potions to gain supernatural powers. To find a way back home, Klein creates a fake persona as the "The Fool," an ancient god-like entity, and gathers a group of powerful individuals to form the Tarot Club.
