Steel Ball Run
Steel Ball Run (Japanese: スティール・ボール・ラン, RR: Sutīru Bōru Ran) is the seventh story arc of the legendary JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series. It is widely considered by fans in Indonesia and across the globe as the "Magnum Opus" of creator Hirohiko Araki, praised for its elite art style, complex characters, and its shift from a Shonen to a Seinen demographic.
The story is set in a rebooted universe in the year 1890. It follows Johnny Joestar, a former star jockey who was paralyzed from the waist down and lost his fame, and Gyro Zeppeli, a mysterious executioner from the Kingdom of Naples who uses a technique called "The Spin." Together, they enter the Steel Ball Run—a massive, 6,000-kilometer horse race across the United States with a 50-million-dollar prize. However, they soon discover the race is a front for a conspiracy led by President Funny Valentine to collect the "Saint’s Corpse," holy relics that grant absolute power and luck to those who possess them.
